Nekked Bear Army: 2 Legit

Alright, time to get down to brass tacks.
Play this while reading the entry. (Optional)

As you all may have noticed up there at the top of the page, there's a fancy new logo sandwiched between those two apparently well-endowed, censored bears Alex drew.

Click to embiggen.

Back when Alex was founding the blog, I offered to create such signage, but had failed to do so until now. Not only do we now have an official logo, but a fancy symbol/glyph that I have so dubbed the "Star-Paw", which you will also notice is now the blog's favicon in the URL bar.

Variations on the Star-Paw glyph.

Also, if you happen to be an iPhone or iPod Touch user, adding the page to your Home Screen will result in a fancy icon.

Yes, my iPod is jailbroken. Shh!

Nekked Bear Army is now that much more seemingly legit. We should make t-shirts. (Not of the logo; I just think we should all get together and sew some shirts.)
At the very least we should have secret-societal rings made.

More variations on the logo:

While writing this entry, I thought of a few other implementations. Perhaps linking-banner images that you can add to your other blogs/personal webspaces? If anyone else has any other ideas, lemme know in ye olde comments below.

  1. This has to be one of the funnest posts I've ever read. You have to read it with the "2 Legit 2 Quit" playing. That is great.
And way to go Parker and Alex on the blog header. It looks great!

  2. I like the logo, y'all. And DO WANT a shirt. AND a secret society ring.
If you promise me one of those, I will actually post shit once in a while (when I'm not in a corner crying about skoo').

  3. Thanks, Chris! Glad you liked… everything. Haha….

Thanks also to Reilly; glad you like it as well.
And as far as things are looking, you can probably expect a shirt before a ring. My research shows custom ring creation is expensive, whereas something like CaféPress is less so.

a super awesome ring would be, like, super awesome. t-shirts are cool too, though. i'd wear one all the time. i like black on white.

p.s. i still think we should open a real-live store and sell art and junk.
